Carnivals and Sickness

Yes, I look pretty dang goofy in this picture taken at the awesome (psych!) carnival that we went to check out Saturday, but I think it's kinda tight. It was right by this big furniture place called RC Wiley. Bailey had her heart set on this place, so we went for a good half an hour, and she got to ride some rides with Kale, I wasn't feeling to hot. She got on one with Kale, that I don't think she really knew what the ride did, because I was suprised she was going to ride it. It was like that Hammerhead ride at Knotts that goes fully upside down, way high up in the air. I forget what it was called, but you can see above that my mother got a pretty dope shot of it. I've been reading a lot lately, and that has inspired me to start writing a story again, just like I did when I was younger. But this is more mature than anything I have ever written, and when I showed Kale the first chapter, he was amazed and stated that it could published easily. I thought maybe he was just being nice, but I showed my bassist Jordan Barnett it as well, and he was stoked about it too. I am not going to explain it much on here, you will all just have to wait to read it, but you won't be disappointed. And FINALLY, I am sick again. It's really getting old and I wonder if the doctors aren't catching something sometimes, because I'm constantly sick. Yet, I put on a smile like always and try to be my energetic self, but it is hard to now a days because I always feel so sick.
Love all you guys. I'm done for nowww.
P.S Band promo pictures soon, recording full length during the summer. Still workin on summer tour.

Wolves and CV

Ask yourself what you see? An awesome wolf drawn by my cousin Makayla of course, but the cool thing is that its me in a sense. When my mom told me that Makayla was making wolf form of everyone in the band, I thought that was such a sick idea! So I obviously had to post about it, duuh. Might possibly make a song about this whole deal having to do with wolves or something cool like that, I don't know! Or possibly a t shirt design!? Well I just want to say thank you Makayla for being such a loving cousin! We will have new songs out hopefully soon (which I'm sure our only three are driving you guys up the wall) but it just costs money. And of course I love Haylee, and the rest of my cousins. =D
That's it for now!

P.S Note the little beard the wolf has, yeeah I have been kinda growing mine out ;) I see the resemblence. Haha.

Music. Music. And some more Music.

So I just want to let you guys know what I have been listening to lately, and what has been getting me through my days. First things first, music is my life, I love to hear it, play it, write it, anything. It's amazing. My favorite band is A Day To Remember, duuh. A lot of people can agree with me on this, because their music is extremely poppy, but the breakdowns are super heavy, and I think that's awesome. I'm seeing them April 19th at Club Retro, two days after we play a show there with Mozart Season, which we are selling boatloads of tickets for ;) But some other bands have made my "get me through the day" list. The first one is A Skylit Drive. They are very unique and I suddenly love this band. They hail from Lodi, California, which is really cool because we have played there before at the 180 (I wonder if they have played there?!), and it also gives us hope that we can definitely make it in the music scene. Another band is called Four Year Strong, remind me of A Day To Remember, with no screaming, and sometimes I don't dig screaming, so that's when I put on good ol' FYS. The last band might shock some of you, Haha. I have taken a lot of interest in The Red Hot Chili Peppers all of a sudden, and it's due to reading Anthony Kiedis' autobiography called Scar Tissue, which just might be my favorite book at the moment. I really appreciate their music now and know what Kiedis went through to make it to the top (heroin addiction for example). I would recommend that book to anyone!
That's all for now. I just wrote you a novel on four bands I've been diggin ;)

Say Hello To MiLo.

Today was a good day. Besides the splitting headache that has been hanging around most of the day, this day has turned out to be pretty dang awesome. Not only did I get a 6:58 on my mile (speed demon, I know), we tried out our good friend Micheal Lopez (nickname MiLo) to be the second guiatarist in the Vale. He came over and got right to work, fitting in with every song we have. It was like he had been on our Myspace for hours straight learning our songs and making up new riffs, but the catch was he hadn't. He has only heard us a few times. Not only that, he was an extremely fast learner, so much so that he would watch Will play for awhile, then play the exact same thing. The whole band loves him and gets a long with him very well, so its safe to say that MiLo is now a part of Carcerys Vale and hopefully will be the whole way to the top of the music scene ;D

P.S About to get famous!

Whaddup!

First time bloggin, right here! Seen my mom do it so much, and even my guitarist Will started doing it, so I decided to give it a shot. Note the picture above: Probably the second day of Carcerys Vale's existence. Band photos were taken this day by my skilled mother, and they turned out to be super sick! This was before we even had music on the space. 45,000 plays, 2 thousand friends, and 5 shows later, we are still progressing and currently writing new material, that should definitely blow some minds. We have three big shows coming up in April, on the 10th, 17th, and 24th, all at different venues, and all with signed bands! Great exposure.
School is school, I'm getting by with good grades. Spanish 2, ew! Hate it. But I'll get by with a passing grade, no worries there. Basketball season is over, yeees, even though my season ended a bit earlier than the rest of the team due to mono. I wasn't complaining though, our team was far from horrible. Haha. I'm serious.
Well that's it for now, I will post more when I have more to talk about!
